Reston, Va. – Three business units of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD) will be among the exhibitors at the Association of the U.S. Army’s Global Force Symposium & Exposition, scheduled for March 25-27, 2025, at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
Following is a list of General Dynamics products and solutions that will be displayed.
General Dynamics Land Systems (Booth 1515)
Pandur SHORAD: Making its public debut, the Pandur SHORAD is a 6×6 solution for comprehensive maneuver
short-range air defense. Featuring Moog’s RIwP turret – the same weapon system as on the SGT Stout — integrated onto a Pandur Evo combat vehicle, Pandur SHORAD offers enhanced command and control, plus protected mobility and modular lethal payloads for infantry brigades. Its gross vehicle weight is lighter than the fielded SGT Stout, which supports armored brig
ades. Critical drivetrain components also are mounted internally to maximize reliability and durability.
VITALS™: Vehicle Intelligence Tools & Analytics for Logistics and Sustainment is Land Systems’ solution for predictive and prognostic maintenance (PPMx). VITALS™ provides forward-looking, decision-actionable logistics information to troops and their leaders through five modules based on artificial intelligence and machine learning: Maintenance App, Vehicle Module, Digital Motorpool, Command Module and Fleet Management Module. Portions of VITALS™ already are fielded within U.S. Army Stryker Brigade Combat Teams and are being experimented on throughout the Army – even on non-General Dynamics platforms. The VITALS™ software increases operational readiness rates while decreasing logistics footprints and reducing lifecycle costs.
General Dynamics Mission Systems (Booth 1520)
Next Gen Survival Radio: The Next Generation Combat Survival Radio (NGSR) is a U.S Air Force-led program for the DoD Joint Force providing line-of-sight voice and secure, over-the-horizon, two-way data communications that help combat search and rescue teams quickly locate, authenticate and rescue downed pilots and isolated military personnel. The radio sends encrypted global positioning information, user identification and situation reports to provide rescue teams and aircraft operating in hazardous conditions with quick and accurate location information. The new NGSR radio is significantly smaller, lighter and has better power efficiency than previous CSAR radios.
Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT) demo: The IMPACT demo will show how the IMPACT software suite converges the mission-planning capabilities of the Aviation Mission Planning Systems (AMPS) with the airspace control capabilities of the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) into a single, role-based, hardware-agnostic, software-centric solution. IMPACT will span command post, mobile/handheld and mounted computing environments, including the Aviation Mission Command Server (AMCS) on aviation platforms and will provide for greater Army, joint and partner nation interoperability.
Smart Munitions: This exhibit will feature a host of key weapon subsystems capabilities comprised of Assured PNT capabilities, Software-Defined Radios (SDR) and guidance electronic units as part of an integrated solution to improve the kill chain for long-range precision fires and associated weapons platforms as well as networked anti-vehicle munition system.
GPS Source Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) solutions: Fight Tonight and Modified Reception Pattern Antenna (MRPA) Assured PNT solutions for GPS-challenged environments are based on DoD- and Army-defined threat conditions and have scalable, low-cost and easy-to-install solutions for the majority of the Army tactical ground vehicle fleet.
TACLANE® High Assurance encryption solutions are interoperable and NSA certified, providing widely deployed classified voice and data protection for national security systems, information and networks at the highest levels. We secure the mission from tactical edge to enterprise.
Sectéra® Secure Voice personal communication devices provide NSA certified High Assurance, end-to-end secure communication solutions from the desktop to the frontlines. The Sectéra vIPer™ Universal Secure Phone is the only Voice over IP (VoIP) phone certified to protect classified Top Secret/SCI and below over commercial wired networks.
ProtecD@R® encryption products protect our Nation’s most sensitive Data at Rest (DaR). Designed for enterprise and tactical environments, our DaR encryption devices offer both direct and networked attached storage solutions including a standalone 32 Gb/s encryptor and embedded technology for hard drive encryption in laptops, ruggedized platforms and storage systems.
Next Generation Load Device-Medium (NGLD-M): Working with the U.S. Army, General Dynamics Mission Systems is building the NGLD-M that will manage and transfer cryptographic key material and mission planning data in a ruggedized hand-held device. Designed to replace aging Simple Key Loader fill devices, the NGLD-M transfers NSA-generated cryptographic keys to tactical, strategic, and enterprise network systems operating from unclassified up to the highest levels of security classification.
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (Booth 1520)
Missile Subsystems: Ordnance and Tactical Systems offers a variety of solutions to advance missile technology and serves as a one-stop shop for lethality, propulsion, and control solutions. From world-class modeling and simulation to development, qualification, and production, we offer concept-to-hardware capability to enhance precision and lethality for the warfighter.
155mm Artillery Systems Integrator: As a new source of 155mm artillery Load, Assemble, Pack (LAP) capability, Ordnance and Tactical Systems is an end-to-end solutions provider of metal parts, HE explosive fill and Modular Artillery Charges (MACS) for the artillery enterprise, as well as a full-spectrum systems integrator.
